Nobody dies, thus the game just drags on endlessly without a 'win factor'. I think no perma-death ruins the games The kings always have hundreds of soldiers and the player character never will gain power.
No more lords and vassals etc going full speed ahead into 100 cavalry with nobody following them. Would drastically change battles as well. Everyone being able to die would make the game extremely difficult. Until the devs smarten up and add Perma-death modes. Some people might prefer the sandbox singleplayer game against the AI & mods - but I think multi-player is the games best strength.
